John talks more about Petite Louis and the valuable input of Brasserie La Provence Manager Christophe Descarpentieres in bringing this restaurant to life. Steve welcomes Robert Monroe back for a talk about scotch whiskey, this time as a regular guest on Dining 505. Also, a salute to the late Chief Justice and Albuquerque Native Gene Edward Franchini.

The Steve Paternoster Show evolved from the hour-long chats about the restaurant and hospitality industry on Dining 505. This bonus mp3 file is a sample of a recent Dining 505 episode from October 28, 2009, with guests John Phinizy of P'tite Louis and Henrique Valdovinos of Brasserie La Provence.

Steve and his guests venture into a new format this week and focus on issues relevant to local business owners beyond the realm of dining. The Cash for Clunkers Program, the explosion of Ruth's Chris Steakhouse across the country, the National Restaurant Association and New Mexico's Film Industry are subjects for this group's witty and often frank discussion. Henrique talks about the recent Beaujolais Nouveau Event at La Provence, and John talks about setting up a brand new restaurant, P'tite Louis, in Albuquerque's Downtown area.
